Brewer -
Local credit union employees and members are doing their part to help end hunger in Maine.
For the 5th year in a row, Brewer Federal Credit Union is hosting a huge yard sale.
There are books, clothing, household items and much more for sale.
All of the money raised goes to the Ending Hunger in Maine Campaign.
" If we can do anything at all to end hunger and make people's lives a little easier, then we've succeeded," said David Stanhope, branch manager at Brewer Federal Credit Union.
The Ending Hunger in Maine Campaign has been around since the 1990's and in that time it has raised more than $4,000,000.
The yard sale runs until 2pm Friday.
You can find it at 77 North Main Street in Brewer.
