Twenty People Treated for Exhaustion and Dehydration at Hip Hop Concert at Scarborough Downs

Scarborough - About 20 people attending a hip hop concert at Scarborough Downs have been treated for exhaustion and dehydration and some have been taken to a hospital.

Police say rescue workers treated people who attended the "Under the Influence of Music" concert featuring rapper Wiz Khalifa Tuesday evening. About 6,000 people were at the concert.

The Portland Press Herald reports, that officials called in additional rescue workers and activated a task force that supplied extra ambulances from neighboring communities.

Seven people were taken to the hospital. Fire Chief Michael Thurlow says none of them appeared to have serious conditions.

Police say there were a few arrests and some people were told to leave during the concert.
