A Massachusetts man who's being held on a murder charge in Maine is now accused of assaulting a prison guard.
David Brian Silva, 33, has been charged with assault on an officer, aggravated criminal mischief and terrorizing.
He's accused of hitting a guard in the chest with his head Thursday.
He's also accused of threatening to killed another prisoner.
Silva is being held in connection to the murder of Robert Orr, 53, of Readfield in February of last year.
Police say he set Orr's home on fire and stole his pickup truck, guns and other items.
Before Orr was killed, Silva and his girlfriend had been living in his home for several weeks.
