Brunswick Concert to Benefit Colorado Violinist who was a Victim in the Colorado Movie Theater Shooting

Brunswick - A Colorado violinist who performed last year at Bowdoin College in Maine is expected to fully recover from the head wound she suffered in last week's shooting rampage at the new Batman movie, "The Dark Knight Rises."

The Portland Press, says proceeds from Tuesday night's "Artists of Tomorrow" concert in Brunswick will benefit 22-year-old Petra Anderson, of Aurora, Colo.

Anderson impressed the Brunswick arts community with her talent during the 2011 Bowdoin International Music Festival. She had been invited to participate in the 2012 festival, but declined the offer in March due to family health issues.

ABC News says that despite fears that her wounds could cause paralysis or speech impairment, Anderson is expected to make a full recovery following multiple surgeries last Friday.
