Bangor -
The sun came out just in time for a summer tradition in Bangor Tuesday evening.
The 18th annual block party drew a crowd to Chapin Park.
The event is organized by local business owners, who donated food, drinks and their time as a way to say thank you to the community for their support over the years.
"We like to come every year. We live here in the neighborhood. It's great to see all of our friends. We brought our family with us and we have a great time," said Bangor resident, Kim Willette.
Organizers expect next year's party to be even bigger.
