American Legion Zone One Day Two

Bangor - Day two of the Zone One Ameerican Legion tournament and that means teams are starting to get knocked out. First a check of the winners bracket game between Bangor and Motor City.

Motor City with three first inning runs and pitcher Max Andrews was in control. He gets Nick Cota swinging and leaves a man on.

Bangor pitcher Greg Duff settled down after the first and he had some help from his defense. Carl Farnham with the nice diving catch at short.
Bangor couldn't get a run home until the 4th.
Yesterdays starting pitcher Curt Worcester showing the big bat.
He drills one into the gap for an RBI double. Cota comes in to score. The Comrads get two in the inning and three more in the 6th to take the lead for good.
Bangor advances to the title game with a 7-4 win.

And Brewer survives with a win today 9-6 over Hampden.
