Bangor, Charleston -
A teenage boy who says a convicted sex offender from Charleston convinced him to take naked pictures of himself testified Tuesday in Bangor.
Carey Gonyer, 43, is on trial in federal court.
He's charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and possession of child pornography.
Gonyer is also facing 10 state charges of sexual abuse of a minor.
The alleged victim, who's now 17, was reportedly 15 years old at the time.
The two met working at a farm in Charleston.
Tuesday detectives also testified about finding explicit photos on Gonyer's cell phone and a cell phone memory card taken from his home.
Five years ago, Gonyer was sentenced to more than two years in federal prison for having child porn.
Gonyer's lawyer says he's not sure yet if his client will take the stand in this case.
If convicted of the federal charges, Gonyer faces a minimum of 15 years in prison and a maximum of 30 years.
