$3-Million, 15 Year Deal for Naming Rights to New Bangor Arena

The new Bangor arena officially has a new name.
The 8,000 seat venue will be called the Cross Insurance Arena.
The agreement between the company and the City of Bangor is for 15 years and the contribution from Cross Insurance is $3,000,000.
" We're very proud to see the name on the building. The Bangor Auditorium has been an important place over our lifetime for family events and schoolboy basketball, and father-daughter dances. It means a great deal to be a part of the new arena," said Brent Cross, executive vice president for Cross Insurance.
The Cross Insurance Center is expected to open in the fall of next year.
