A budding singer/songwriter from Florida is finishing up a two week stay in Bar Harbor.
Country artist Amber Leigh has been playing at the new Paddy's Irish Pub downtown, joined on stage by her father and bandmate.
Later this summer, she'll begin her own talk show on The Country Network, where she'll be interviewing country music stars.
Leigh said she's enjoyed her time in Maine, playing some of her original country songs mixed in with music tailored to the crowd at Paddy's.
"Since we are here at Paddy's, my dad and I, we focus a lot on our roots, a lot of the celtic and the irish all that kind of thing, just to keep all the beerdrinkers happy and everything like that. But predominantly, I'm a country artist, I play fiddle and mandolin and sing, and it's mostly pop country, so we do throw a lot of that in when we're here," said Leigh.
She will play her last two shows in Bar Harbor on Friday and Saturday beginning at 7:30 PM at Paddy's Irish Pub.
