Early Morning Mobile Home Fire in Hudson

3

Hudson - Fire destroyed a mobile home fire in Hudson this morning.

Crews were called to Corinth Road a little before 6 a.m.

When they arrived, authorities say three-quarters of the home was engulfed in flames.

We're told two people were inside at the time, they made it out safely but two dogs and four cats did not.

Fire fighters from five departments battled those flames for about two hours.

(Cheif Mike Simmons-Hudson Fire Department)"We did find a few difficulties with the fire. We did have a lot of stuff stacked- clothing and belonging stacked on a bed in the middle of the bedroom which made it hard to fight and it led to a lot of fuel in the structure."

Authorities believe, the blaze may have started somewhere in the middle of the home.

The fire marshal's office has been called in to make an official determination.

The two people that lived here are now staying with friends.
