Eastbrook -
Eastbrook is turning 175 and this weekend there's a big celebration for the birthday.
It starts Friday at 5pm with a bean supper at the community building. There's also a cribbage tournament at the fire house and roller skating at the school.
Saturday morning there's a parade at 10 and events throughout the day, ending with fireworks at night.
Things wrap up Sunday with a breakfast and a softball tournament.
175th Celebration Events
Friday:
5pm-7pm bean supper at community building
6:30pm - cribbage tournament at the fire house
7pm-9pm - roller skating at the school
Saturday:
10am- parade
11am-2pm- car show at the community building parking lot
9am-4pm- craft sale at the church parking lot
9am-4pm- yard sales at the community building parking lot
4pm - 7pm- concert at the school
9pm- fireworks at Molasses Pond
Sunday:
6:30am- 10am - breakfast at the grange
8am- softball tournament at the school
There will also be a silent auction at the community building. Items will be drawn at 2pm Sunday.
All money raised from the carnival will be used toward a new playground at Cave Hill School.
