UPDATE: Search Dive for Toddler Ayla Reynolds Turns Up "Nothing Substantial"
Winslow -
On the seven month anniversary of her disappearance, Maine Game Wardens and State Police divers are searching the Kennebec River in Winslow for Ayla Reynolds, the missing toddler who is feared dead.
State Police spokesman Steve McCausland said searchers are concentrating in the area of the Brookfield dam behind the railroad yard.
Ayla was reported missing by her father on December 17. He told police that he put her to bed the night before and discovered her missing the next morning.
Police believe Ayla is dead and say there is no evidence to indicate she was kidnapped.
