Lebanon -
A 2-year-old New Hampshire girl was seriously injured Sunday morning when she fell into a fire pit in southern Maine.
Police say the girl was camping and playing with family at the Flat Rock Bridge Family Resort in Lebanon when she fell backwards into the pit.
Authorities believe coals from the previous night's fire smoldered through the night.
She’s being treated at a Boston hospital for severe burns.
