Skowhegan -
A Somerset County Jail inmate on the run for six days turned himself in to police in Skowhegan this weekend.
Dylan Perkins, 20, of Skowhegan, escaped July 9th.
According to officials, he got away while inmates were unloading a produce truck.
Perkins reportedly showed up at Redington Fairview Hospital on Saturday with a family member.
Perkins had 18 days left on his sentence when he escaped.
He’s now facing up to five additional years in prison on felony escape charges.
