Three People in Rumford and Mexico Arrested on Drug Trafficking Charges


Rumford, Mexico - Three people were arrested in Rumford and Mexico on drug trafficking charges.

The Oxford Sheriff's Department has arrested 27-year-old Corey Edingbourgh and 29-year-old Sarah Bosworth of Mexico for aggravated trafficking in heroin.

They also arrested 26-year-old Daniel Richard of Rumford for aggravated trafficking of oxycodone and trafficking in heroin.

Those arrests come after a six month long investigation.

Authorities say they recovered nearly 12,000 worth of heroin during the investigation.

Richard was arrested on Monday after MDEA agents recovered 80 bags of heroin at his apartment. He was released the following day on $20,000 bail.

Edingbourgh and Bosworth were arrested on Wednesday. Their apartment was searched and over 300 bags of heroin were found.

They were arrested while transporting drugs. Their infant child was in the car at the time.

they are being held on twenty thousand dollars bail.
