Update on Rockland Boy that Lost Hand in Accident

Rockland - A 5-year-old boy from Rockland who lost his hand in an accident in June has returned home.

Noah Keene was discharged Tuesday from Massachusetts General Hospital.

Surgeons re-attached his hand but say it will take a few months before they know whether the surgery is a success.

Police say Noah had a jump rope wrapped around his wrist with the other end of the rope dangling out a window when it became snagged by another car, severing his hand.
