Suspect in Hermon Home Invasion Arrested 5 times This Year

Bangor - One of the suspects in a deadly home invasion in Hermon has been arrested for the fifth time this year.

Bangor police say 20-year-old Philip McIntyre was arrested last week for unpaid fines. He was released on bail from the Penobscot County Jail.

Jail authorities say he was also arrested on the first of this month, once in April and twice in February.

Police say McIntyre was one of three people who forced their way into an apartment in Hermon in mid-February. A man accused of being an accomplice was shot and killed.
