Steuben -
The Maine Forest Service has determine that lightening from a storm last weekend sparked a wildfire in Steuben Wednesday.
Officials with the Maine Forest Service said the fire on Unionville Road burned about seven acres.
We're told the fire moved quickly and was very aggressive, but crews did have the fire out Wednesday night.
There are no houses or other structures in the area..
The Maine Forest Service says it is not uncommon for lightning strike fires to smolder for several days, sometimes up to two weeks before breaking out.
Crews will be back on the scene Thursday morning to monitor any hot spots.
