Madison -
Authorities are searching for an inmate who escaped from the Somerset County Jail in Madison.
Police tell TV 5 they are searching an area off of Route 150 in Skowhegan for Dylan Perkins, 20.
We're told Perkins Perkins was being held on a probation revocation for eluding an officer. He also had an outstanding warrant for operating after suspension in Madison.
Perkins was unloading produce at the jail Monday afternoon in a non-secure area when he fled. We're told he ran off, jumped over a fence, and then was gone.
He was scheduled to be released from jail on July 27th.
