Construction is underway on part of Route 1A in Hampden.
North Main Street, as it's also called, is down to one lane, starting near Mount View Drive.
The work extends north for about a mile.
Department of Transportation crews are guiding drivers through the construction.
The road will be completely closed for a week in September while a culvert's being replaced.
The entire project is scheduled to be done in November.
