Augusta -
Police say a bicyclist has died in a hit-and-run crash in Augusta.
Police Lt. Christopher Massey says a passerby found a man lying on Ward Rd. underneath a damaged bicycle Friday afternoon. No other vehicles were in the area.
The victim has been identified as Gary L. Lacasse, 49, of Augusta.
A state police reconstruction team was called to the scene. Additional details were not immediately available.
