Winslow -
The State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating after a series of homemade bombs sparked small fires in Winslow this week.
No one has been hurt and there has been no property damage.
The latest incident occurred Thursday when a device, described by investigators as an aerosol can and a carbon-dioxide canister, left a scorch mark about two feet in diameter in the parking lot of Winslow Junior High School.
A similar device was reported burning at the corner of Pinehurst Avenue and Woodlawn Drive in the early morning hours Tuesday. Another burning device was reported at the corner of North Garand and East Bowden streets at about 4 a.m. Wednesday.
Investigators tell the Kennebec Journal, the incidents could be related.
