Habitat for Humanity Looking For Family

Bangor - Habitat for Humanity of Greater Bangor spent two months searching for a family to move into its fifteenth home, but came up empty.

Of the more than one hundred applications since March, none of the families met the qualifications.

So the application window will be re-opened.

Saturday the 30th and Saturday the 7th, from 10:00 to 4:00 people will be on hand at Restore on Washington Street in the Penobscot Plaza in Bangor to give applications to anyone who would like to be considered for the house.

Construction was set to begin early this month, but can't happen until a family is found.

For more information, call 942-8977 or e-mail Amanda at habitatbangor.org.
