Calais -
A burning candle is being blamed for an apartment fire in Calais Sunday night.
Crews were called to Swan Street around 5:30 in the evening.
When they arrived, authorities say one of the units was full of flames.
All five people living there managed to get out safely.
Fire fighters from Calais as well as St Stephens, New Brunswick spent about three hours on the scene.
The fire was contained to one unit, but there is smoke and water damage throughout the building, according to fire fighters.
We're told all of the occupants have found other places to stay while repairs are made.
