Bangor -
A communications provider, with an office in Bangor, has laid off staff members.
OTT communications reduced approximately 10-percent of its workforce in New England, including workers in Bangor.
According to OTT's senior vice president, Rob Souza, the lay offs come after Time Warner Cable announced it will not renew its existing contract with OTT and recent changes by the FCC will result in lower revenue for most rural telecommunications providers.
