Bangor -
If you were looking for a bite to eat in downtown Bangor Tuesday, you might have noticed a new restaurant on wheels.
Street Bistro rolled into the city and set up shop behind the Key Bank kiosk.
The mobile eatery was started by the owners of the now closed Market Bistro restaurant.
They decided the best way to give Bangor a taste of their cooking was to put their meals on wheels.
"A lot of times people don't want to try something new because it's white tablecloth, or they feel that they might feel out of place, and so we wanted to bring it a little more down to the streets," said owner, Kim Smith.
Street Bistro's hours are still up in the air, but Smith said, as of now, they'll be at the same spot in Bangor every Tuesday for lunch.
You'll also find them at the Outdoor Market & Cool Sounds concert series every Thursday night on Market Street in Bangor, and at the Hampden Farmers Market every Friday.
