A Bangor high loss will be a Lawrence high school gain this fall. Xavier Lewis will be moving from Bangor to Fairfield later this summer.
Lewis was a key member of the Bangor basketball team this past winter as a sophomore. The guard led the Rams in scoring several times during the year and helped end the Lawrence season in the post season tournament.
Lewis also plays football and was a receiver, running back and defensive back for the Rams.
Xaviers mother, Taffy Witham, helped Lawrence win several state basketball titles in the early '90's.
He'll be joining one of Bangor’s biggest rivals in the Bulldogs.
