The Coyotes using their speed early on. Meghan Cousins gets on base, steals second, moves over to third. Then, Rachel Martin brings her home with a groundout. That put Old Town up 1-0 in the 1st.
In the 2nd, more of the same. Runner on third and Brittany Cousins lays down a bunt. Kayle Madden jets home to score, making it 2-0 Old Town.
The cannon on Kendra Hayward was working as usual. She gave up just one run to Nokomis and Old Town takes home the Class B Eastern Maine title with a 4-1 win. The Coyotes will face off with Fryeburg in the state title game.
