Bucksport -
Fans crowding the hill behind right field in Bucksport. The undefeated Golden Bucks softball team hosting Mattanawcook.
The first four innings going by very quickly because of great pitching!
For the Lynx, it was Taylor Blood. Bucksport pops one up, and Blood's batterymate, Ashley Libby, making a great grab behind the plate, keeping it scoreless.
But just a few minutes later, the Golden Bucks do get on the board. Deb Wight laces one down the left field line. That brings in Bailey Blair and it's 1-0 Bucksport.
The Lynx would put runners on 2nd and 3rd with nobody out in the 5th, but Cassidy Adams was dealin'! She strikes out Ashley Crosby and Morgan Russell to end the threat. Bcksport advances with a 7-0 win.
