UPDATE: Brownville Woman Taken by Ambulance After Court Sentencing

Dover-Foxcroft - A Brownville woman was taken by ambulance from a Dover-Foxcroft courtroom, after she apparently fainted upon learning she is going to jail for 1 year for giving alcohol, marijuana and prescription pills to her daughter's 13-year-old friends.

37-year old Tanya Donnelly was sentenced this morning.

She was found guilty in March on seven counts including aggravated furnishing of marijuana, furnishing of alcohol to minors and endangering the welfare of a child.

The six girls who were at the party and their parents told the judge that they have lost all trust in kids and parents because of this.

Donnelly has a terminal illness and her lawyer says she is not a hardened criminal, just someone who made a dumb mistake.

Donnelly addressed the court saying she is very sorry for any pain she has caused and she wants to live the rest of her life to do good.
