Belgrade, Manchester -
A woman from Belgrade accused of dragging a Kennebec County Sheriff's deputy while his hand was caught in her car window is being held without bail.
Deputy Nathan McNally say 33-year old Angie May Soucy of Belgrade gave him a false name when he pulled over her vehicle Tuesday in manchester for having illegally attached plates.
McNally say she refused to get out of the vehicle and when he reached through the window to unlock the door, Soucy sped off, dragging him with her.
After about 35-feet, McNally freed himself from the vehicle and arrested soucy when she got stuck in a ditch.
Soucy had ten outstanding warrants.
The deputy was not seriously injured.
Soucy's not allowed to get out jail because of a probation violation.
