Kennebec Valley Humane Society Pet:
Hello! My name is Sybil. I am a 1-year and spayed female who is up to date on routine vaccinations. And I'm just the girl to brighten your day! I'm happy, silly, goofy, busy, funny, sweet, affectionate...and every other nice word you can think of! I have absolutely no manners and will get into everything but I'm so eager to please that some consistent guidance will help me become an absolutely wonderful dog! Well, I'm already quite wonderful so with your help I will just get even better! I like other dogs and cats are OK so just about any home will be a great one for me. UPDATE: I'm back! I was returned because I was less than polite with one of my family members. I need to have a home that is ready to set rules and boundaries to give me the guidance I really need to have. Without these guidelines I don't know quite how to behave or what my place in the home is. I will be well worth the time and effort you put into me so please come and take me home! Remember that I can be very strong willed if I get something into my head so be sure you are ready for the challenge of a somewhat stubborn pooch!!

Video: World's vegetation seen in stunning satellite imagery
While 75 percent of the planet is a relatively unchanging shade of ocean blue, the remaining surface goes through stages of green. In this NASA/NOAA imagery capturing April 2012 to April 2013, the darkest green areas are the lushest in vegetation, while the lightest could be snow covered, drought impacted or just un-vegetated rock.
