In Orono, MDI's Mea Clark moving on with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Ashley Gibula of Brewer in her last match today. Bangor's Pat Stewart with a rocket of a serve, helping him beat Alex Townsend from Hampden. The Broncos will have a representative in the next round, as Ashley Woodside was able to knock off Suzzy Chen of Foxcroft. Number one seeded Tyler Small of Ellsworth moving on, beating Old Town's Ben Smith with a nice putaway at the net. Nick Coit chatted with Small after his match, and he was happy about winning today.
