Adams Shines For UMaine At Conference Championship

2

Orono - America East Track and Field Championships were in Orono today. The rain starting to dry up as the morning went along. A few of the men's events were bright and early.

We'll start with a couple of Maine natives. In the javelin throw, it was Alex Parenteau from North Yarmouth with one of his tosses. His teammate, Tyler Roy, actually finishing 2nd in the event. Bar Harbor's Dan Hales also competing.

Maine got a lot of points in the hammer throw thanks to Ethan Moore, who finished third, and to sophomore Wilson Adams. He finished in first with a throw of 56.44 meters, under a meter from the UMaine school record!
Here's Adams after the event.
