Orono - UMaine Safety Jerron McMillian was chosen by the Green Bay Packers with the 38th pick in the 4th round of the NFL Draft. McMillian was chosen 138th overall and will have the chance to learn from veterans like Charles Woodson and compete for a spot in the "cheesehead" secondary. For UMaine, this is the highest a player has been chosen in the draft in program history. John Huard was taken in the 5th round back in 1967. Here's Maine football coach Jack Cosgrove on the selection.
