Over at Kessock Field, the UMaine softball team bundling up on a very cold and windy day. They were hosting UMBC for two.

The game was tied at one in the 3rd, but the Black Bears manufacturing some runs. Jennifer Eberhardt with a sacrifice fly to center, brings home EmJ Fogel, and it's 2-1 Maine.
A couple batters later, it's Dagmar Ralphs with a shot over the right fielder's head. Another run comes home for Maine. They'd win it, 7-1, and they sweep the doubleheader, winning Game Two, 9-1 the final.
