This morning, the future of Maine football getting a chance to showcase some skills at the annual Jeff Cole Spring Game at Alfond Stadium.
A couple of local guys making a big time connection. Quarterback Ryan Stroud from Dover-Foxcroft hitting Bangor native Josiah Hartley for the game's first touchdown. Beautiful pass, beautiful catch.
Later on, the guy who may have earned himself the starting QB job, Marcus Wasilewski, with a 20-yard touchdown pass to the middle of the end zone, hitting Arthur Williams for the score.
Coach Cosgrove saying to his team after the game that he liked what he saw, but now the real work begins, with the summer program.
