The sign of a strong community is when it can come together, have a good time, and do it for something worthwhile. Tonight, Eastern Maine Community College hosting a charity basketball game. It was put together by the EMCC International Club, and some faces you may know laced 'em up and jumped onto the court.
It was the white team versus the blue team. You can see many of the EMCC coaches and faculty in the huddle.
They weren't too shabby out there! An alley-oop to the white team's big man, men's basketball coach Steven Rich.
Even college President Lawrence Barrett was out there, had some trouble though.
In the end, the blue team ended up winning the game on a Kyle Pluchino three-ball.
But it was all for a good cause. The proceeds tonight going toward helping
Heifer International.
