hosting Husson University.
The Black Bears and Eagles with some heads up plays early on. Bottom 2nd,
Brynne Davis pops to shallow left, Aimee Mortensen makes the Willie Mays-style catch, and then catches Jennifer Eberhardt napping for the double play.
Top 3rd, Husson threatening with runners at 1st and 2nd. Heidi Shaw tries to put down a bunt but EmJ Fogel with the great catch. Husson would leave the runners stranded.
Bottom 3rd, UMaine up 2-0, and Hilary Kane adds to the lead. An RBI single to center. The Black Bears would go on to win it, 8-0.
