Orono - Justin Leisenheimer and his teammates hoping to give themselves a couple conference W's today as well.

Good news for the Black Bears was that they had very good pitching today. Steve Perakslis strikes out Andy Drexel here. The junior righty was sensational, going seven innings, giving up only two hits and a run.

On offense, UMaine gave Perakslis some support. A four spot in the second
and then Colin Gay singles to right center in the 6th, scoring Fran Whitten and Michael Fransoso. UMaine wins both games of the doubleheader today, 6-1 and 7-2. The Black Bears have now won 12 straight games.
