Penquis offers Case Management Services for families with a child on the autism spectrum (give specific examples of Case Management services) and a monthly Support Group
Penquis has received a grant to offer Social Skills Group for Youth with Autism Spectrum Disorders(Funded by the Elizabeth W. Means Trust, Bank of America, Trustee & Facilitated by Penquis Autism Community Services)
Who Can Participate: Youth ages 6-9 diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Eligibility is based on a brief screening process focusing on group participation and current social skill level.
When: May 1st through June 12th - Tuesday's from 5:30-7:00 pm
Autism Awareness Walk starting at UCB campus in Bangor April 29. Walk begins at 12:00. (The Autism Awareness walk will be taking place at other locations across the state
