UMaine Seniors Get a Head Start Before Graduation

2

Orono - University of Maine seniors are graduating in May but Thursday they had the chance to get ahead of the game.

The university hosted its annual Grad Fair.

It's a chance for seniors to pick up their caps, gowns and other commencement items.

The fair is sponsored by the university bookstore.

Floor Supervisor Colleen Gagnon had some special advice for the class of 2012.

"Just go out there, don't cut themselves short, go out there and feel good about themself, be confident about themself," she said.

Student Nate Wildes shared what he will miss most about UMaine.

"The campus spirit and the people here really struck me as one of the most unique places on planet earth," he said.

Commencement is scheduled for May 5th.
