The Maine State aquarium in West Boothbay Harbor has a new resident: a very large lobster.
Aquarium officials say it was brought to them Monday by a member of the Maine Marine Patrol. The lobster weighs 27 pounds.
It's believed a shrimp dragger accidentally caught the lobster. Aquarium officials are still trying to figure out exactly what happened.
