Tonka is a 3-year old Rottweiler who was brought to the Kennebec Valley Humane Society after he was abandoned by his previous owner. This wonderful dog is a bundle of energy with love to spare! He is highly food motivated and this will certainly aid in his training. He is fun and fun-loving and ready for a home that will dedicate the time and energy he needs. Tonka will not be placed in a home with cats as they provide far too much temptation to chase and children over the age of 8 would be most appropriate for him. He is a sweetheart of a dog looking for a second chance!
Outdoor cats sometimes sleep under the hoods of cars during cold weather. When the motor is started, the cat can be injured or killed by the fan belt. Before starting the engine bang loudly on the car hood.
