Some fans at the Alfond sporting Patriots and Giants gear, getting ready for tomorrow night's big game.
First period, Black Bears on the power play. Spencer Abbott breaks his stick on the slapshot, but Mark Anthoine is able to knock the puck in. His 10th of the season, making it 1-0 Maine.
Later in the first, Kyle Beattie passes to Brice O'Connor. It's stopped at first, but O'Connor sneaks in the loose puck. The first career goal for the sophomore and it's 2-0 Black Bears.
In the second, great stickwork by the captain, Brian Flynn. He's able to go top shelf on the backhand. Black Bears making it look easy, it's 3-0.
It was a powerful night for Maine on the man advantage. Here it's Matt Mangene who scores his 11th goal of the year. UMaine was 3-for-6 on the power play to end the night. They win easily over Alabama-Huntsville, 5-0 the final.
