Bangor -
For three years now, our own Wayne Harvey has given back to the Make A Wish Foundation through Wiffle Ball.
Wayne's Wiffle For A Wish has raised $15,500 for the charity, which grants wishes to children who have life threatening diseases.
Friday morning, the folks from Make A Wish surprised Wayne live on television with the community spirit award.
It's one of only a handful of honors given out each year by Make A Wish, to Mainers who go above and beyond for the foundation.
Each August, players participate in 12 plus hours of Wiffle Ball at the Union Street Atheltic Complex in Bangor.
Last year, more than 170 people took part in it.
This year's Wiffle For A Wish Tournament is set for August 18th.

On behalf of all of us here at TV 5, a huge congratulations to Wayne on a well-deserved award.
