Bangor -
UMaine-Fort Kent was on the road tonight in Bangor, coming in at 13-6 overall on the year.
They were playing these guys, Eastern Maine Community College, the number one ranked team in the nation in the USCAA.
Both teams showing off from downtown early. First it's Jeremy Thomas who breaks the ice for the Bengals. He had 34 points in the game, making it 3-0 Fort Kent.
But down the other end, EMCC evens it up. Kyle Pluchino drains one from downtown, tying it up at three.
UMFK had an early edge. Here it's Manny Odugbela who stumbles through the Golden Eagle defense and manages to put one up and in, making it 8-5 UMFK.
But the number one team in the nation flexing its muscles at the end of the first half. Jefe Dubois off the rebound fights his way to the hoop
and draws the foul.
The Bengals would close the gap to five at halftime on an Odugbela buzzer-beater and the Bengals would go on to win it in overtime, 82-80. They hand EMCC their second loss of the year.
