Hampden came in at 5-6, while the Red Riots coming off an 8-1 rout of Houlton/Hodgdon and with a 3-6 record on the year.
First period, both teams getting a chance on the power play. Orono killing off a Broncos chance and then capitalizing on theirs. Matt Cloutier with a backwards pass to big Zach Williams who blasts it in, making it 1-0 Red Riots.
Second period, this time Orono shorthanded, but that doesn't stop Andrew Holt. He breaks through the Hampden defenders and scores, putting the Red Riots up 2-0.
The Broncos had four power play opportunities in the first two periods and with 13 seconds left in the second, they finally take advantage. Robert Stowe puts the biscuit in the basket, cutting the Orono lead in half. That's how it would end. The Red Riots win at home, 2-1 the final.
