Augusta -
A 63-year-old man has been acquitted of charges that he set his own house on fire to collect insurance money.
Alan Crocker was found not guilty of two arson charges by a Kennebec County Superior Court jury.
The charges stemmed from a fire at his home in January 2010.
Prosecutors say Crocker was the only person at home at the time of the fire and he had financial problems after filing for bankruptcy protection in 2009.
