Blue Hill - It's a kid's dream come true, a place they can let their imaginations run wild.

"It really empowers them in their own learning. A lot of our students come who are, especially kinesthetic learners They really learn with their bodies. They feel very hampered by the school system often," said Peninsula Metamorphic Art and Learning President, Amy Grant.

Peninsula Metamorphic Arts and Learning is located in Blue Hill. They invite children in grades kindergarten through five.

The kids are treated to a healthy snack, then have homework time, but after that, it's play time.

"Kids have built things as simple as pirate boxes to different kinds of boats and that's amazing for your kinesthetic learners," said Grant.

The facility doesn't have a store bought playground. Instead, the kids go into the woods and create their own from forts, to swings and even secret doors.

"We're not a structure classroom. We can teach to a lot of different learning styles and we can also give a lot of time for learning and that's one of the reasons we decided to build the building," said Grant.

The center has only been open for a little over two years, but they say it's growing in size and popularity.

"It's giving families something to do outside of here together which is really amazing," said Grant.
